Did you vote for Donald Trump? Were you determined
to make America great again? Did you really believe he was going to drain the
swamp in Washington? If you truly thought you voted to make America great again, your'e wrong. Here’s what you actually did.
You voted so Republicans led by Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan can destroy the Affordable Care Act, turn your Medicare card into a voucher, and take away the Social Security check
that sustains many of you.
Note: They will do this incrementally and word the legislation so skillfully you'll think you’re
getting a good deal. Trump will sign the bills with a smile on his face.
Apparently, you also voted to shred the Constitution and turn America over to Putin. Honestly, I doubt treason is acceptable to you just because you're a Republican. Still, isn't your silence a form of acceptance?
Trump, McConnell, and Ryan lied to you. You know it. They are not Christians and they are not patriots. Their god is money. They are opportunists looking to make a buck even if that means the destruction of our Republic.
The first step toward changing this is for you, your family, and your friends to own your part in this. If you truly do respect the Constitution and love America, you'll turn on these snakes and remove them from office.
Sit down with your family, your
friends, and your neighbors. Talk about it. Get the truth out. If we allow this, our children and grandchildren will
pay the price.
Find the courage to stand up. It really is up to each generation to preserve our democracy.
Perfectly said ... I would add that if you are a person who voted out of spite or held your nose while voting for Trump and are now complaining you need to own it as well. This was a gross misuse of your right to vote for the most qualified person for the position. As such, you shouldn't even be allowed to vote as you 1. Abused your power using it as a revenge tactic. 2. Put Party before Country and the greater good of all.
ReplyDeletePlease spare me the cries of "but Hillary". No candidate is ever perfect. Don't tell me that Bernie would have been. You can't play Monday morning quarterback. I suspect the Trump campaign would have had a field day with Bernie just as much and possibly more.
Bernie is not completely the non-establishment person you want him to be. He's had no other job than politics all his life. He is a socialist who runs on the Independent ticket, who had to run on the Democratic ticket to get the money he needed and his progressive ideas were what we loved. Make no mistake, Trump would have had a field day with that. All Trump had was some weak emails to take Hillary down. Imagine what he would have done with Bernie stealing electricity and not working until he was middle aged and then choosing politics as his career. So grow up, if you still can't believe that, then you are politically naive.
Hillary had her baggage there is no doubt. But you should have done your homework. If you distrusted the media so much, you could have and should have, gone and looked up all the lies told. You could have found the truth. Much of it was there as public record in the Ken Starr report for the US Congress regarding the Monica Lewinsky issues. Hillary lived her life in the public eye for the past 30 plus years. Stop being dependent for other people to do your thinking for you.
If you give the excuse of the leaked emails, just stop. We now know that the Russians had their hands all over this. Even before this, we were being told it was suspected they were involved. How could you not give credit to that given Trump's love fest with Putin? I would also emphasize the fact that emails can be altered.
Have we all forgotten the days of email? When that was the biggest thing? How many times did you "clean up" an email before forwarding it? I did, all the time. I even corrected typos & grammar in them! So please don't tell me that those emails couldn't have been altered to read however the hackers wanted them to read. For a group of people who didn't believe anything the media says, or other people say, you trusted some group who illegally obtained emails and what they said. Perhaps you should question why that is.
Hillary had grown as a candidate and a person. I believe she had returned to her original roots. The ones where she had fought so hard for children when she worked for the Children's Defense Fund to discover why so many young children weren’t getting a formal education. If you don't know about this tireless effort of hers, I suggest you read about it. It is an amazing part of her life that tells you a great deal about her. That Hillary was returning to her roots, I think she would have become very progressive as President. Don't scream Wall Street to me ... They are infiltrating the cabinet of Trump as we speak. Don't tell me about the Clinton Foundation either. The conflict of interest with Trump is staggering and he has no intention of ever letting go of his businesses. In fact, I predict he intends to rape our country and make himself billions while president just Putin did in Russia.
